Laux wrestles to title at national tourney
FARGO, N.D. ? Phillip Laux, who will be a junior at Pekin High School this fall, added a national title to his resume last Friday.
Laux defeated Darian Cruz of Pennsylvania by decision to win the 98-pound Cadet freestyle national title in Fargo, N.D.
On his undefeated run to the title, he won eight straight matches against opponents from New Jersey all the way to California.
As a sophomore at Pekin, Laux place third
