Lincoln archers take second
The Washington School District Archery team traveled to Anamosa for a tournament on Saturday, and came away with many positive results.
The Lincoln Elementary team finished in second place at the competition, led by Olin Wells? score of 243.
That 243 was good for seventh in the elementary boys? division, while Morgan Cole?s 240 was second on the elementary team, good for fifth in the elementary girls? ...

The Washington School District Archery team traveled to Anamosa for a tournament on Saturday, and came away with many positive results.
The Lincoln Elementary team finished in second place at the competition, led by Olin Wells? score of 243.
That 243 was good for seventh in the elementary boys? division, while Morgan Cole?s 240 was second on the elementary team, good for fifth in the elementary girls? division.
Allison Rees took seventh place in the elementary girls? division with a 237, while Bryce DeWolf finished eighth on the boys? side with a 234, and Alex Craff took 10th place out of 63 boys in the competition with a 231.
In the high school division, the Demons took fifth place overall, led by John Sands? 285, good for sixth place overall.
Kyle Basten finished with a 281, good for 10th place overall, while Alex Sinn finished in 13th place for the girls with a 271 and Kylee Porter took 15th for the girls with a 270.
The next scheduled meet for the Demons is on Saturday, Jan. 17, in the main gym at Washington High School.
