Lisbon quarterback Logan Rickard ran for four touchdowns and threw for another as the Lions blanked visiting WACO 42-0 on Friday night.
Rickard, who finished with 90 rushing yards on 10 carries, ran for touchdowns of 1, 53 and 1 yards in the first quarter as the host Lions (5-1, 4-0 Class A District 5) jumped out to a 21-0 lead. Senior Trevor Moore, who rushed for 71 yards on 12 carries, ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter, and Lisbon led 28-0 at the half.
Rickard threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to junior Tyler Svatosch early in the third quarter, and the clock ran for the remainder of the game. Rickard added a 10-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter for Lisbon, which totaled 381 yards of offense in the contest.
Meanwhile, WACO (4-2, 2-2 District 5) was limited to just 109 yards of offense. Senior Tyler Ayers, who had rushed for 785 yards in the Warriors? first five games, was limited to just 28 yards on 14 carries. WACO also had four turnovers in the contest.
