COLUMBUS JUNCTION — The rainfall that ravaged the area over the weekend took its toll on racing Friday at the Louisa County Fairgrounds.
The amount of rain affected the fairgrounds to the point much of it was under water.
The track intends to resume racing this week with a full program as well as some added entertainment. The fans will be treated to a gigantic J & Fireworks display following the races.
All five racing divisions will compete Friday sponsored by Huston Brothers Trucking and J & Fireworks.
Hot laps will take to the track at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.
