Maharishi girls tennis takes third at Fort Madison Invite

FORT MADISON — The Maharishi girls tennis team traveled to Fort Madison this weekend to participate in the Bloodhounds’ home tournament. The Pioneers finished in third place on the day, scoring six points, three back of first-place Ottumwa.
Lily Fenton had a busy day winning titles. In the No. 1 singles bracket, the Maharishi junior took home the top spot.
No. 2 Ishita Mukadam finished second in her bracket, as did Sara Valls in the No. 4 bracket.
Fenton and Mukadam won the doubles competition, scooping up some much needed points.

2) Camanche 8 points
3) Maharishi 6 points
4) Fort Madison 4 points
5) Burlington Notre Dame/West Burlington DNS
