Maharishi tennis continues winning ways
Girls sweep Notre Dame, Boys down Burlington

Maharishi just keeps winning on the tennis court.
On Monday, the girls thrashed Notre Dame, 9-0, to continue their unbeaten streak. The boys nearly swept Burlington on Tuesday, coming away with a 8-1 win.
The girls had no problem against the Nikes in singles.
Lily Fenton flew through her No. 1 match, 8-1. Ishita Mukadam didn’t drop a match, winning 8-0. Vaisnavii Mohanraj was victorious 8-4. Isabella Castle didn’t lose, 8-0. Saraswati Quevedo-Valls and Daira Valls Blazquez took their matches 8-2.
In doubles, it was more of the same.
Fenton and Mukadam lost just one game on their way to an 8-1 victory. Castle and Mohanraj followed the No. 1 duo with a 8-1 win in the No. 2 match. Quevedo-Valls and Blazquez rounded out the doubles field with a 8-3 win.
The Pioneers raced past the Greyhounds on the boys side as well.
In the final dual meet of the season, Maharishi dropped just one game.
Ruimin Luo came away with an upset victory in his No. 1 match, 7-6 (7-5) and 6-0. Jayanta Wegman defeated his opposition 6-4, 5-7 and 10-7. Polo Altynski-Ross downed his opponent 7-5 and 6-3. Dominic Dupoux won his match 7-5 and 6-1. Gabriel “Chacho” Roesler was a winner 6-3 and 6-1. Mekhi Kahiu fell in his two set match, 6-4, 4-6 and 10-7.
In doubles, Luo and Dupoux were winners 6-4.
