The Iowa Print Writers Association has announced its 2020-21 Iowa High School Girls Basketball All State team and there are two very familiar names on the list. Van Buren County star Isabel Manning has made the Class 2A first team, and Mt. Pleasant standout Andrea Lopreato was named to the Class 4A third squad.
Manning, a senior, was the most skilled scorer in the state of Iowa. She put up 30.2 points per game, beating out Southeast Iowa Super Conference rival Mya Merschman by 2.5 points for the title of the state's top scorer. She mad 11.6 field goals per game, which was tops in the state.
Manning was also the top rebounder in the SEISC, and 10th in the entire state of Iowa. She finished the year with 11. rebounds per game, including 4.2 offensive boards per contest.
Manning led the Warriors with 3.0 assists per game as well, and added 3.5 steals per game to her already impressive resume.
The VBC star was also third in the Miss Iowa voting. She will be continuing her basketball career at Clarke University next season.
