No service or visitation is planned. As per Mrs. Vorwerk?s request, cremation has been accorded.

Mrs. Vorwerk was born June 25, 1938, in Iowa City, the daughter of Harold Franklin and Elsie Irene Olson McIntire. She married James E. Vorwerk Dec. 27, 1958, in Burlington.
Mrs. Vorwerk was a 1956 graduate of Fairfield High School. She had worked at Midwest Biscuit and Sylvania.
Mrs. Vorwerk was a member of Saints John and Paul Catholic Church.
She enjoyed walking, riding her bike, making crafts, cleaning her house and shopping.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tim Vorwerk and Mark Vorwerk, both of Burlington; two grandchildren; one brother, Steven McIntire of Grimes; and three sisters, Arlene Haifley and Marilyn Kane, both of Fairfield, and Pam Cubbage of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold McIntire and Dale McIntire; and two sisters, Janet Dickey and Carol Myers.
