WAYLAND — WACO senior Lennon McClanahan made his college choice known last week, as well as his extracurricular plans.
McClanahan will be joining the Coe College Esports team. He signed his letter to jump on board with the Kohawks alongside friends and family.
McClanahan joins a squad that has over 40 members on its roster. The KoHawks will be joining their first Esports conference next year, the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
WACO Esports has taken off in the last handful of years, as the Innovation Lab becomes the Warriors’ Esports Center after school.
The Coe College Esports team competes in League of Legends, Rocket League and Call of Duty among other games.
