Mid-Prairie atop CC rankings

The latest high school cross country rankings released Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches saw the Mt. Pleasant girls fall out of the top 15 in Class 3A while Mid-Prairie stayed at No. 1 in 2A behind Marie Hostetler's top ranking, Mitzi Evans at No. 10, Abbagail Evans at No. 17 and Ana Fleming at No. 25.

Mt. Pleasant's Abby Ryon is ranked sixth. Danville-New London has Addison Parrott at No. 7, Ty Carr at 20 and Alexander Julian at 22 in 2A. Pekin's Brady Millikin (9) and Colten Glosser (10) are ranked in 1A with Lauren Dersheid at 10.
