Mid-Prairie blanks West Burlington-Notre Dame
Mid-Prairie junior quarterback Reid Miller threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Golden Hawks blew out West Burlington-Notre Dame 49-0 on Friday night.

Mid-Prairie junior quarterback Reid Miller threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Golden Hawks blew out West Burlington-Notre Dame 49-0 on Friday night.
Miller was 11-for-13 passing for 209 yards and two scores. His main target was junior Nick Stimson, who caught five passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. Senior Elliot Runciman made three receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown, and junior Eesaa Baylor had a 37-yard touchdown catch.
Baylor also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown for the Golden Hawks (6-2, 4-1 Class 2A District 5), and sophomore Austin Slabaugh ran for 45 yards and a score. Junior Canaan Powell rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown, and Miller had 15 yards and a scoring run.
Mid-Prairie?s defense, led by sophomore Jordan Ulin?s eight tackles, limited West Burlington-Notre Dame (1-7, 0-5 District 5) to just 39 total yards.
