Mid-Prairie blasts past Davis County

WELLMAN - The Golden Hawks football team soared over the visitors from Davis County Friday 63-6 behind Kayden Reinier's 117 yards and three touchdowns.
Vinny Bowlin added 94 yards on seven carries and scored two touchdowns while Mid-Prairie teammate Cael Garvey scored twice and Isaac Boucher once. Chris Miller caught a pass from Brad Tornow for a TD. Jack Baker had 76 yards on three catches.
Justice Jones led the Mid-Prairie defense with 4.5 tackles including one for loss. Keegan Gingerich had a fumble recovery and a 39-yard punt return.
Mid-Prairie is 5-3 and plays at Albia Friday.
