Mid-Prairie celebrates cross country supremacy
The Mid-Prairie girls cross country team was recognized for its success on Tuesday between Mid-Prairie’s girls and boys basketball games.
For the last five years, the Golden Hawks have been the sitting at the pinnacle of cross county in the state of Iowa. In October, Mid-Prairie won its fifth straight cross country state title in class 2A.
Cross Country isn’t the only sport the girls are dominant in. This spring, they will be looking to win their fourth straight track and field championship.
