Mid-Prairie football thrashes Central Lee
Golden Hawks score season high in blowout victory

DONNELLSON — Mid-Praire pounded Central Lee in a district road game on Friday, blasting the Hawks 66-8.
The Golden Hawks led from start to finish, putting 36 points up in the first quarter and leading 52-0 at halftime and 59-0 after three quarters.
Mid-Prairie simply dominated the ground game. Tyler Helmuth ran for 55 yards and four scores. Dylan Henry scampered for 111 yards and a touchdown, and both Justice Jones and Braden Hartley found the end zone.
The Golden Hawks had three turnovers. Collin Miller returned a fumble 26-yards for a defensive touchdown. Gannon Callahan fell on a fumble and Jones picked off one pass.
Mid-Prairie is now 3-2 on the year. They will be on the road at Williamsburg next week.
