Mid-Prairie girls hit the mat

IOWA CITY - Mid-Prairie attended its first all-girls wrestling tournament Saturday.

'We learned lots of lessons and had a lot of fun throughout the night,” Mid-Prairie coach Justin Garvey said on Twitter.

Rylee Vercande won her division with three pins while Sarah Meader was second and Mia Garvey was third. Caitlyn Busch and Madison Kelly did not place.
