AMES — Iowa State University played host to the 2025 Iowa Track and Field Indoor Championships this weekend, and Mid-Prairie made a huge statement to start the spring.

The Golden Hawks edged Pella Christian by two points for the Class 2A girls championship. Mid-Prairie took sixth on the boys’ side, scoring 26.
