Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks sports teams receive state honors
Five Mid-Prairie spring and summer sports teams have received recognition for their academic achievement during the past school year.
There are two different awards given by the state: the Excellence in Academic Achievement and the Distinguished in Academic Achievement.
The Excellence award is given to the team who achieve a combined grade-point average (GPA) between 3.00 and 3.24.

Five Mid-Prairie spring and summer sports teams have received recognition for their academic achievement during the past school year.

The Distinguished award is given to teams who have a combined GPA between 3.25 and 4.00.
Four of the Golden Hawks? spring teams were recognized.
The girls golf team earned a Distinguished in Academic Achievement for their 3.47 GPA.
The girls soccer team had a GPA of 3.48 to give them a Distinguished State Award.
The girls track had a 3.62 GPA, earning a Distinguished State Award while the boys track earned an Excellence in Academic Achievement.
The Mid-Prairie softball team earned an Excellence in Acadmic Achievement award for their 3.19 GPA.
