Mid-Prairie has top 3 ranked girls

Danville Hostetler has some company at the top of the individual Class 2A girls rankings released this week by the Iowa High School Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.
Hostetler and Mid-Prairie teammate Jaden Yoder remain at rankings Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, but No. 4 Sydney Yoder is now No. 3 and the team is ranked first.
The Mid-Prairie boys remained in third with three individuals ranked. Thaddeus Shelter rose from No. 19 to 11, Jamison Stutzman from 21 to 16 and Chandler Hershberger from 26 to 20.
Danville-New London's boys stayed atop the 2A team poll with Ty Carr No. 8 and Alexander Julian 14.
Brady Millikin of Pekin fell to No. 7 from 4 in Class 1A with the Panthers fifth. Zack Wise is ranked 30. His teammate, Lauren Steigleder, is also at 30 in the girls and the team remained in second. Lily Fariss rose from No. 22 to 11.
The Columbus Wildcats made the teams to watch for the third week.
Addison Parrott of Danville-New London is No. 9 and the team remains on the watch list.
