Mid-Prairie JV football team rolls over Central Lee
The Mid-Prairie junior varsity football team totaled 431 yards of offense in its 26-6 win at Central Lee on Friday night.

The Mid-Prairie junior varsity football team totaled 431 yards of offense in its 26-6 win at Central Lee on Friday night.
Freshman Nolan Faselt rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for the Golden Hawks, and freshman Karson Duwa added 119 yards and a score on 19 carries. Freshman Ryan Cortum chipped in 24 yards on four carries, and he also completed two of his five passes for 79 yards. Sophomore Jacob Kukuzke caught two passes for 79 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown pass from Cortum.
Freshman Paul Hawbacker made eight tackles to lead the Mid-Prairie defense, and freshman Cameron Tolander added seven tackles and a sack. Duwa and freshman Jacob Adrian made six stops apiece, and freshman David Fladung made five tackles. Cortum, Adrian and sophomore Colin Weber each intercepted a pass.
