Mid-Prairie, New London climb in final baseball rankings

The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association rankings were released Monday, and it is the final poll for Classes 1A and 2A. Those postseasons start Saturday while 3A and 4A start next week.
Mid-Prairie moved up to fourth in Class 2A and New London advanced up to seventh in 1A but is behind Don Bosco at No. 6, despite an unofficial defeat.
Fort Madison of the Southeast Conference is ranked ninth in 3A.
