Mid-Prairie No. 2 in final 2A regular season rankings
Defending 2022 champion Van Meter holds No. 1 spot in Class 2A poll

The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association released its final regular season rankings for all classes on Monday.
Mid-Prairie will end the regular season as the lone Union area team in the polls.
The Golden Hawks finish the regular season rankings holding onto the No. 2 spot it Class 2A. Defending champion Van Meter holds the top spot.
As of late, the Golden Hawks have been red-hot.
Mid-Prairie are currently winners of 11 straight and have not lost since June 12.
Most recently this week, the Golden Hawks are coming off a three series sweep of Durant and a comeback win over Washington, 8-4.
Mid-Prairie currently sits at 23-6 on the season.
After a matchup with Tipton on Thursday, the Golden Hawks will cap off the regular season with a quarterfinal state tournament rematch in Cascade.
The final No. 1 teams include Newman Catholic in Class 1A, Van Meter in Class 2A, Western Dubuque in Class 3A and Ankeny Centennial in Class 4A.
