The Mid-Prairie wrestling team went to Monticello on Thursday night and left with a pair of victories at the duals.
The Hawks earned victories over Monticello (57-18) and Cascade (47-28) on the night, picking up a pair of conference wins.
Against Monticello, Mid-Prairie earned six forfeit victories, with Duncan McCain (120), Jeremiah Boos (132), Brent Foster (152), Ethan Danner (160), Jose Juarez (182) and Levi Duwa (220) each earning free wins.
Miles Burrows earned a win by fall at 126 pounds for the Hawks, while Jaren Unzinger picked up a pinfall at 145 and Visouth Peterschmidt earned a pin at 195.
Jason Tew (170) picked up a sudden victory, 6-4 over Gavin Holub of Monticello.
In the dual against Cascade, Mid-Prairie?s Jacob Leonard earned a forfeit victory at 220.
Burrows, Tew, Juarez and Peterschmidt each earned wins by fall for the Golden Hawks, while McCain claimed a 14-2 major decision at 120, David Murray (132) claimed a 7-2 decision victory and Danner (160) won an 11-0 major decision.
Mid-Prairie will head to Mount Vernon on Saturday for a tournament that will feature Lisbon, Louisa-Muscatine and Davenport Assumption.
