Mid-Prairie pulls away from North Cedar
No. 5 Mid-Prairie rebounded from a disappointing loss at Durant on Tuesday with a 51-36 win over North Cedar on Friday night inside Tim Grady Gymnasium.
Mid-Prairie (13-4, 9-3 Cedar Valley Conference) led 25-19 at halftime, but out-scored the Knights 14-4 in the third quarter to take a commanding lead. The Golden Hawks led by as many as 23 points in the fourth quarter.

Senior Mallory McArtor scored 11 points to lead Mid-Prairie, while seniors Mariah Swartzentruber and Jessie Butters added nine points apiece. Swartzentruber grabbed eight rebounds, and Butters had six.
