Mid-Prairie routs Central Lee
After squeaking out a 10-7 win over Clear Creek-Amana at home on Aug. 31, Mid-Prairie rolled to a 54-7 win at Central Lee on Friday night.
Junior Eesaa Baylor rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries for the Golden Hawks (2-1, 1-0 Class 2A District 5), and junior Canaan Powell added 47 yards and two scores. Senior Ryan Hoffman also ran for a 48-yard touchdown.

Junior quarterback Reid Miller threw for 93 yards and tossed touchdown passes to Hoffman and junior Ryan Shalla in the contest.
Junior Austin Errthum intercepted a pair of Central Lee passes. Senior Kendall Bontrager intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble.
