Mid-Prairie upsets No. 4 Wilton, meets Pekin
WILTON ? Mid-Prairie upset fourth-ranked Wilton by as score of 1-0 and became Pekin?s opponent in tonight?s Class 2A Region 7 final.
The winner will advance to the state tournament. For Pekin, it is its first regional final since 2002 and a win would put them in the state tournament for the first time in 46 years.
The Panthers advanced with a 4-0 win over West Burlington-Notre Dame Monday.
