WELLMAN - Mid-Prairie lost two matches at a volleyball tournament it hosted Saturday while Washington went 1-1.

Iowa City Regina defeated the Golden Hawks 25-22, 25-21. No. 3 (Class 3A) West Liberty won 25-12, 25-17.

Washington also lost to West Liberty, falling 25-11, 25-13. The Demons defeated Regina 25-11, 11-25, 15-12.

Mid-Prairie is 4-7 and plays at West Branch today.

Washington is 7-15 and hosts Fort Madison today.
