Mid-Prairie’s Rich honored by River Valley Conference

Mid-Prairie senior Makensie Rich was recognized by the River Valley Conference when she was selected to the South Division's Honorable Mention list.

Rich connected on 88 kills for the Golden Hawks for an average of 1.14 per set. She placed 147 of 163 serves successfully for a .902 rate and recorded 14 aces. She also had 10 assists, 154 digs, eight block assists and four solo blocks.

Tipton won the South Division and made it to the Class 3A state title game but lost to Carroll Kuemper. Wilton, which finished second in the South Division, made it to the Class 2A state tournament, but lost in the first round.
