Middle school wrestlers compete in Burlington
BURLINGTON ? Eight Fairfield Middle School wrestlers went undefeated Tuesday at a triangular with Burlington and Fort Madison at Clark Field House in Burlington.
Derek Beasley, Michael Fritz and Dallas Peebler won two matches apiece to help lead Fairfield to a 14-14 overall match record. Fritz won by fall twice. Beasley won by fall and 9-0 major decision, and Peebler won by fall and 4-1 decision.

Zach Barnes, Trenton Hanen, Chris Hanson, Jose Rojo and Mitch Taglauer each won their one and only match. All five Trojans won by fall.
Charles Heisel, Bailey Jones and Austin Winslow also won one match apiece.
The Trojans travel to Washington next Tuesday to take on the host Demons, Burlington and Mount Pleasant.
