Mixed martial arts returns to convention center
Mixed martial arts pounds its way back to the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center on Friday with Extreme Challenge 206 mixed martial arts.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the opening bell at 7:30 p.m.
Extreme Challenge 206 will feature the semifinal round of the heavyweight Super Fight Series. Top local talent will face off in more than 10 bouts.

Mixed martial arts pounds its way back to the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center on Friday with Extreme Challenge 206 mixed martial arts.

Extreme Challenge 206 will feature the semifinal round of the heavyweight Super Fight Series. Top local talent will face off in more than 10 bouts.
Mount Pleasant?s Parnell Davis faces Burlington?s Dusty Chandler in a much-anticipated rematch. In the other semifinal, Davenport?s Brandon Knapp takes on Burlington?s Dave Swafford, the current Extreme Challenge heavyweight champion. Also scheduled to fight is Fairfield?s Ron Lancaster and Ottumwa?s Adam Gates, the bantam weight champion. Brady Milder and Coley Deese, both from Columbus Junction make their debut in the cage. Mark Clubb, Tyler McGuire, Jeremy Marts and rising star Steven Mann of Burlington also will be competing.
Front row table seat tickets are $35 and second row table seat tickets are $30. General admission tickets are $20 and $25 and available at the convention center?s ticket office and online at www.fairfieldacc.com.
