Monte J. ?Joe? Sedore, 46, of Vernon, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at home.
A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Andy Bunnell officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
Open visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present 5-7 p.m.

Monte J. ?Joe? Sedore, 46, of Vernon, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at home.
A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Andy Bunnell officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Mr. Sedore was born Oct. 3, 1965, in Keosauqua, the son of Russell J. and Esther Bennett Sedore. He married Cynthia Miller. She died June 19, 1998. He married Melissa ?Lisa? Scherer July 31, 2009, in Loveland, Colo.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Vernon; two sons, Brady Sedore of Vernon and Lyle Sedore and wife Jackie of Harper; two stepsons, Chad Simmons and wife Lacey of Keosauqua and Dustin Howard of Agency; one stepdaughter, Amy Simmons and husband Josh of Bonaparte; four grandchildren; five brothers, David Sedore and Lyle Sedore of Broken Arrow, Okla., William Sedore of Milton, Lloyd Sedore of Bentonsport and John Sedore of Kahoka, Mo.; eight sisters, Nancy Lawrence of Muscatine, Carole Pruden of Des Moines, Susan Parrish of Keosauqua, Cynthia Kisling of Farmington, Linda Hermiston of Durant and Phyllis Mitchell, Candace Horstman and Peggy Troutman, all of Bonaparte.
