Moore is the first Washington archer in history to earn a scholarship to shoot at the next level.
Moore, who was named 3D WHS Shooter of the Year and was also an Athlete of the Week in March of 2002 has piled up the accolades over the last few years.
Last year, he took fifth place at the IL S3DA 3D state tournament, where he competed with the Flint River Archery Club. He then took sixth at athe Iowa State Bullseye competition with a final score of 290.
Moore had three first place finishes and three second place finishes in bullseye season, and also added a pair of first place finishes and one second in archery season.
