After a season that saw Keota boys? basketball get back on top of the conference, one player stood out from the rest.
Senior Zach Mousel made his mark on the team, and eared first-team All-South Iowa Cedar League honors for his efforts this year.
Mousel finished the year with a team-best 12.3 points per game and dished out another team-best 106 assists (4.4 assists per game), to go with 16 blocked shots, 41 steals and two rebounds per game.
Mousel helped lead the Eagles to a 17-7 record this season, and claimed a SICL East division title.
Joining Mousel on the All-Conference honor list was junior Jacob Wickenkamp, who earned second team honors.
Wickenkamp averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while dishing out 92 assists (3.8 per game) and notching 41 steals.
Senior Isaiah Hahn earned honorable mention honors for the Eagles, after averaging 10.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while junior Avery Conrad averaged 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds to join Hahn on the same list.
The Eagles graduate six seniors this season, but will look to keep building, as they have five returners who played in at least 21 of their 24 games.
