MP 12U team wins home tournament

The Mt. Pleasant Storm 12U ASA Softball team hosted a 10U/12U ASA Softball Tournament earlier this month at the East Lake Softball Complex in Mt. Pleasant, and 18 teams from throughout the state attended.

The Mt. Pleasant Storm 12U went 2-1 on the first day, and the next day they beat the Johnson County Jaguars and the Davenport Falcons to advance to the championship game against the Bettendorf Lil? Dawgs.

The Storm girls were down 10-2 at one point; however, they battled back to defeat Bettendorf, 12-10, and claim the title.
