MP bowlers fall against Burlington, Keokuk

The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams competed in two Southeast Conference duals over the last week. Last Thursday, Burlington edged the Panthers in Mt. Pleasant, 2,767-2,736 in the boys matchup and 2,087-1,966 in the girls game. On Tuesday night, Mt. Pleasant was done in on the road at Keokuk, falling 2,833-2,574 in boys and 2,813-1,629 in girls.
Ethan Oilar had a great outing against Burlington, rolling a 443 to lead the team. Levi Svobda was second on the team at 342. Logan White finished at 339. Nolan Myers ended the day at 317, and Levi Mills rolled a 316.
The Panther boys were led by Mills and Oilar in the meet at Keokuk. Mills rolled a 365 and Oilar finished at 359. White finished at 267. Myers rolled a 264. Fitzpatrick rolled 262 and Owen Steinhoff finished at 241.
In the girls meet against Burlington, Alexis Wohlleber ended the day with a 294. Eden Svoboda rolled a 289. Arlouny Phosy finished at 264. Gillian Anderson and Megan Smith rolled 247 each, and Jackie Tansey finished at 171.
In the Keokuk meet, Wohlleber led the way again, with a 358. Gillian Anderson rolled a 295. Arlouny Phosy finished at 242. Megan Smith ended at 224. Eden Svoboda rolled a 217, and Jackie Tansey ended at 174.
