MP bowling teams split at Fairfield

FAIRFIELD -- The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams traveled to Fairfield on Saturday for a Southeast Conference showdown. The varsity girls' team picked up a conference win, edging the Trojans 1,910-1,856. The varsity boys fell in their matchup 2,654-2,454.
The Panther girls were led by Alexis Wohlleber, who rolled the two best games of the night for the team. Wohlleber rolled a 190 in her first game and a 166 in her second to end the day at 356.
Medow Jensen rolled a 160 and a 122 to finish out at 282. Jordan Aplara rolled a 151 and a 90 to score 241. Arlouny Phosy bowled 117 and 110 to score 227. Danna Wilson rolled a 116 and a 104 to finish at 220, and Alex Hedgecock rolled a 106 and a 107 to finish at 213.
Baker games for the varsity girls went 114, 105, 147, 92 and 125.
The varsity boys were led by Sam Anderson, who finished the day at 383. Anderson rolled a 157 in his first game and 226 in the second. Levi Mills rolled a 169 and a 161 to finish at 330. Brandon Boggess rolled a 136 and a 184 to score 320.
Mark Steinhoff rolled a 149 and a 151 to finish the day at 300. Ethan Oilar rolled a 143 and a 145 to end at 288. Owen Steinhoff rolled a 123 in both the first and second game to score a 246.
Baker games for the varsity girls went 148, 146, 211, 177 and 151.
The junior varsity girls fell 1,646-1,320. Nolan Myers led the way with a 268, rolling a 142 in the first game and a 126 in the second game.
Morelia Elias rolled a 178 (100, 78) for the JV girls. Rachel Kuckes rolled a 176 (83, 93). Jackie Tansy finished at 154 (58, 96), and Cheyenne Kracht scored 134 (72, 67).
Baker games for the JV girls went 76, 77, 68, 92, 92.
The JV boys lost their game 2,324-1,523. Aiden Bobb led the way with a 212, rolling a 99 and a 113. Kalib Wilson rolled a 205, bowling a 97 and a 106.
Logan White finished the day at 198 (94, 104). Damien Kracth rolled a 193 (93, 100). Justin Alldredge scored a 173 (79, 94), and Payton Lovan rolled a 166 (84, 82).
Baker games for the JV boys went 114, 107, 131, 105 and 87.
The Panther bowling teams will be back on the road on Jan. 5 when the season picks up again. They will be bowling at Louisa-Muscatine.
