MP girls' golf second at Keokuk tournament
The Mt. Pleasant girls' golf team finished second to Washington, 359-387, at the Keokuk tournament on Thursday, while Natalie Booton picked up another medalist finish.
Booton shot an 87 on the par 72 course, while Courtney Mabeus shot a 109, also in the medal play format.

The Mt. Pleasant girls' golf team finished second to Washington, 359-387, at the Keokuk tournament on Thursday, while Natalie Booton picked up another medalist finish.
Booton shot an 87 on the par 72 course, while Courtney Mabeus shot a 109, also in the medal play format.
Lindsay Dorn and Mackenzie Notestein won the runner up medal after shooting an 85 in best shot format. Morgan Barton and Danika Christner scored a 108 in lower score format.
"Our girls played well in taking second place in the tournament. I was very happy for Lindsay and Mackenzie in getting the runner up medal in the best shot format," said coach Jim Kelly. "Natalie continues to play well early in the year, taking the medalist honor."
Mt. Pleasant hosts Muscatine and Burlington on Monday, April 11, starting at 4 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club.
