MP Middle School wrestlers go up against Keokuk, Ft. Madison
KEOKUK ? The Mt. Pleasant Middle School wrestling team went 8-8 in its Jan. 10 meet at Keokuk, against Keokuk and Ft. Madison.
Three Panther wrestlers won both of their matches on the night: Justice Christensen, Simon Phanthouvong and Colten Mertens. Kane Jacobs and Trevor Bentler each won one match.
Christensen had the fastest pin for the Panthers, taking down his Ft. Madison opponent in 27 seconds.
