MP seventh-grade volleyball ?D? team wins against Ottumwa
The seventh-grade volleyball ?A,? ?B? and ?C? teams fell to Ottumwa last week, while the ?D? team walked away with a win.
The A team lost by scores of 21-10 and 22-20, while the B team was downed by scores of 21-10 and 21-16. The C team fell 21-12 and 21-14.
In the D match, however, Mt. Pleasant won 21-19 and 21-18.

The A team lost by scores of 21-10 and 22-20, while the B team was downed by scores of 21-10 and 21-16. The C team fell 21-12 and 21-14.
In the D match, however, Mt. Pleasant won 21-19 and 21-18.
Keelyn McNamee was a perfect 9-for-9 serving with three aces in the A match, and Cara Canby was 4-for-7 with two aces.
In the B match, Melissa Romine was 4-for-6 with two aces; Katelyn Gardner, Emmalee Stewart and Emme Kraus served one ace each.
Maddie Van De Berg was a perfect 12-for-12 with seven aces to lead the C team, and Emma Garmoe went 6-for-6 with a pair of aces.
Leading the D team was Necole Hunter-Wiggins, who served 9-for-12 with seven aces. Nicole Faul was 3-for-7 with three aces. Zoe Runyon and Zaileigh Smith each had one ace.
