MSAE boys? prevail Saturday at Pella Invitational
The Maharishi School of the Age of Englightenment boys? tennis team won the Pella Invitational by a slim margin Saturday.
The Pioneers finished with the same amount of points as Pella, but MSAE was given the victory because it won more total games over the course of the day. Boone, Grinnell and Albia rounded out the field.

Sam Stickels captured first place in the singles competition, while Surya Sawhney and Solaris Nite won the doubles title. Nite and Sawhney were able to defeat Pella?s Tom Palmer and Aaron Van Maanen, who were top eight finishers in the state last season.
Girindra Selleck and Chandre Morales finished third in doubles for the Pioneers.
MSAE will compete Tuesday at Burlington and will host the Pioneer Invitational on Saturday.
