FAIRFIELD — High school girls golf returned to Fairfield Golf and Country Club on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant and Keokuk joined the hosting Trojans for a Southeast Conference triangular, one that the Panthers won by 16 strokes.

Mt. Pleasant was the only team under 200 on the day, finishing the meet at 196. Keokuk sneaked in at second, with a 212, and Fairfield finished third, at 222.

Mt. Pleasant’s Elli Liechty topped the field with a 41 to earn Medalist honors. The Panther senior finished eight of her nine holes in five strokes or less.
