MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant baseball team received its postseason awards, handed out by head coach Brent Broeker.
Junior Carter Amos was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Amos hit .310 this season with 21 RBIs to earn the honor.
Fellow junior Jake Ensminger was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year. Zerek Venghaus, another junior, was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Senior Lincoln Henriksen earned the team’s Most Improved Player Award. Sophomore Ben Newton won Rookie of the Year honors.
