WEST BURLINGTON ? The Mt. Pleasant baseball team blasted West Burlington-Notre Dame with a 22-2 win in four innings on the road yesterday.
The Panthers had 13 hits and walked nine times in the contest.
Dustin Amos went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk; he scored four times. Joey Vaughn was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Justin Chalupa was 2-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored.

Carson Remick was on the mound for Mt. Pleasant. He threw four innings, facing 18 batters. He gave up seven hits and two runs (one earned), struck out four and walked none.
The Panthers are now 3-5 on the season, and they open SEC play tonight against Washington at 5:30 p.m.
