Mt. Pleasant bowling teams split with Keokuk

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams hosted Keokuk on Thursday for a pair of Southeast Conference bowling matches. The Panther boys pulled out a tight win, and the girls fell.
Mt. Pleasant’s boys’ team ground out a 2,551-2,507 victory. That win comes over a Keokuk team that is the defending SEC boys bowling champions.
The Panther girls didn’t have a bad day as far as scores were concerned, hitting their top mark on the year, but the Chiefs had too much on their end as Keokuk won 2,748-2,306.
