Mt. Pleasant cross-country awards

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant cross-country team handed out its end-of-year awards at their annual banquet last week. The Panthers gave out awards for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

On the girls’ side, Nelle Peterson was named Team MVP. Jayden Yoder won the Most Potential Award. Monroe James was the Newcomer of the Year, and both Tatum Kane and Hailey Parrott won a Panther Award.

For the boys, Ben Carthey was given the MVP Award. Jude Dykstra won the Most Potential Award. Garrett Landau won the Most Improved Award. Locken Henderson won the Comeback Award, and Ethan Brush won the Panther Award.
