Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield bowling split
Panther girls are winners, Trojan boys winners as well

FAIRFIELD — If ones things for sure, when Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant meet on the bowling lanes it’s sure to be a close one.
On Monday it was just that as the Trojans and Panthers split on the afternoon.
The Fairfield boys downed the Mt. Pleasant boys 2,631-2,271 and the Panther girls were victorious over the Trojan girls 2,081-1,942.
For Fairfield, Dayson Workman was the highest finisher with 391 total pins. Dylan Adam followed with 354 and Chase Johnston ended up in third with 348. Ian Aplara finished fifth with 341. Ethan Cass took sixth with 333. Dalton Drish rounded out the Trojans with an eighth-place finish, 322.
The Mt. Pleasant boys were paced by Alec Payne with 343 pins and a fourth-place finish. Jonathan Fortin took seventh with 324 pins. Christian Bracht-Wagner was ninth with 302. Xachary LaBlanc, Joey Keever and Henry Pforts followed with scores of 284, 270 and 252.
On the girls side, Mt. Pleasant’s highest finisher was Addison McGehearty with 299 pins, good enough for second. Bethany Brury also finished with 299 pins to tie McGehearty. Kylie Alldredge rolled to a fourth-place finish with 297. Abby Anderson took seventh with 260. Cayla Burns finished eight with 249 pins. Airianna Taylor was ninth with 248 pins.
Elizabeth Hootman took first overall for Fairfield with 300 total pins. Eleanore Houston followed in fifth with 281. Nicole Robb was sixth with 269. Kiara Bickham finished 10th with 222 pins and Addison Harris 11th with 208 total pins.
