Mt. Pleasant girls basketball holds 2023 banquet

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant girls basketball team closed the 2023 season out with an end-of-year awards banquet in the Mt. Pleasant Community High School commons area on Sunday.
At the banquet, Coach Curt Watson handed out his end-of-season awards. Eight players received plaques for their work in the 2022-23 season.
Andrea Lopreato was named team MVP. Tristian Shull was named Offensive MVP, and both Andi Scott and Hailey Parrott earned the Defensive MVP award.
Mackenzie Musselman was given the Panther Award. Kate Musselman earned the Most Improved award. The Coaches Award went to both Kate Schimmelpfennig and Alexa Fuller.
