Mt. Pleasant girls win Brookhart-Crew Relays

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield held its co-ed Fairfield Brookhart-Crew Relays on Monday night with Mt. Pleasant, Washington and Fairfield all competing.

Fort Madison and West Burlington-Notre Dame also took part.

The Mt. Pleasant girls put up the biggest number on the night. With seven wins, the Panther led the girls’ standings with 179 points.

Washington followed close behind in second with 148 points. The Demons finished with four winners. Fairfield ended up in fourth with 74 points.

Fort Madison was third with 125 points and WB-ND fifth with 37 points.

As for the boys, Fort Madison was the winning team with 151 points.

Fairfield and Washington went two and third with 137 and 105 points respectively. The Trojans finished with five wins and the Demons four.

Mt. Pleasant ended up in fourth with 102 points and WB-ND fifth with 73.
