Mt. Pleasant gives out football awards
Panthers close out season with 2021 banquet

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant football team received its end-of-year awards at the 2021 banquet held last weekend. The Panthers closed out the year by handing out seven plaques.
Sophomore Payton Hagans and senior Chayse Irving were given the team’s MVP awards. Hagans won the Offensive MVP Award and Irving received the honor on defense.
Lincoln Henriksen took two awards home. The senior won the Top Lineman Award as well as the Panther Award.
Junior Zerek Venghaus was named Most Improved. Senior Dylon Hagans won the Sportsmanship Award, and senior Carson Coleman was named Most Resilient.
