The Mt. Pleasant JV boys? basketball team improved to 6-9 on the season with a 54-21 win at Ottumwa on Monday.

Zach Mulford scored 15 points, hitting five 3-pointers. Dustin Amos and Ben Canby added 12 and eight points, respectively.
Canby, Amos and Marcus Moothart each grabbed five rebounds.
Beau Parkevich ran the offense with five assists. Parkevich, Spencer White and Mulford all had three steals.
Last week, the Panthers didn?t fare as well, falling to West Branch by just one point, 45-44.
?We had a couple chances at the end, but things didn?t go our way,? Rodgers said.
Canby had a team-high 15 points and eight rebounds. Beau Parkevich scored 12 points.
Canby and Spencer White had five steals each. Parkevich had five thefts and five assists.
The Panthers will play Friday at home during a freshman/JV/varsity tripleheader against Washington. The freshman game starts at 4:45 p.m.
