DAVENPORT — It all comes down to this for Mt. Pleasant football.

The Panther’s regular season will comes to an end on Friday night when they take on No. 6 Davenport Assumption away from home.

Mt. Pleasant will be looking to grab its first victory of the season in the Class 3A District 4 contest.

The Panthers come into the district bout most recently off a loss to Fort Madison 55-14 and a 47-26 loss to Keokuk the week before.

Meanwhile, Assumption enters on a two game win streak.

The Knights shutout both Washington and Keokuk over the past two week.

Assumption defeated Washington 35-0 and Keokuk 48-0.

The Knights two losses on the season came against No. 5 (4A) North Scott and No. 4 (3A) Mount Vernon.

Mt. Pleasant vs. Assumption will kickoff at 7:30 on Friday night in Davenport.
